This recognizable theme from the 1993 film adaptation of The Secret Garden appears in several different tracks from the score, but most notably in Leaving the Docks and Showing Dickon Garden.I arranged the piece specifically for my 26-string Fullsicle Harpsicle harp, and it should fit on other small harp models with a similar range. But you can, of course, also play it on larger harp models (either lever or pedal), as well.Because the original version was a piano solo, I had to re-organize some of the left-hand chord structures to get it to fit the range of my small harp. But, even with this adaptation, I was able to keep it in the original key (two sharps, so D Major), meaning that owners of Sharpsicle Harpsicle models, and some Roosebeck Pakistani harps, should be able to play this piece, as well as Fullsicle Harpsicle model owners.There are no lever changes or extended techniques, but, at full-speed, the piece can prove much more challenging than it looks at first glance. In particular, I recommend practicing that quick, repetitive Alberti bass in the left-hand with a loose, exagerated oscillation movement to prevent tightness or injury. Also be wary of starting out at a speed that you can't maintain throughout the entirety of the performance. Aries are fiery, competitive, independent ... and also the most likely of all the zodiac signs to sing that school-yard na na na NA na song to your face when they win.This is a short, 1-page original sketch for small harp, with a range from the F below middle C to the second B above middle C. It is written in A minor (aka no sharps or flats) and includes no accidentals. As such, it should fit pretty much any standard model of small harp with zero modifications, including any model of Harpsicle Harp (even the ones without levers), Roosebeck Pakistani harps, Harp-E, Musicmakers Sonnet 29, or Dusty Strings Ravenna 26.Because you will need to silence each chord immediately after playing to get that sharp, abbrasive, almost staccato sound from my video (something I didn't have the tools to notate fully in the score), this song is trickier than it looks and is not really a new beginner piece, despite the simple notation. Beginners are, of course, welcome to try playing it exactly as written. This is my slightly more complex arrangement of Leaves from the Vine from the beloved animated series Avatar: the Last Airbender, as well as the more recent Netflix live-action adaptation by the same name. It is appropriate for intermediate harpists working with an instrument as small as 26 strings, ranging from the C below middle C to the third G above Middle C (though it can obviously also be played on a larger harp, as well). It is written in the key of B-flat Major with no accidentals or lever changes. As such, it could work on an instrument model without levers, so long as the instrument is tuned with Bs and Es flat. My own instrument is a Harpsicle Fullsicle Harp. But I believe it could also work, with one or two very minor modifications, on a Harp-E, some of the Roosebeck Pakistani harp models (though check your range to be sure), Dusty Strings Ravenna 26, or Musicmakers Sonnet 29.The intro, outro, and transitions of the song weave in a medley of other themes from Avatar: The Last Airbender, including excerpts from The Avatar's Love, Four Seasons, and the main title theme. The core of the arrangement, however, centers around on variations of Leaves from the Vine.I also have a simplified, beginner-appropriate arrangement of this piece published seperately. I like to think it gives spooky filmscore / Wednesday Addams vibes, with a neoclassical air, while still remaining very accessible to a less-experienced musician with a small, simple, or budget instrument.It is in the key of A minor (i.e. no sharps or flats) with no lever changes. It should also already fit the range of most common small harp models, including Harpsicle harps (even if your model has no levers!), Roosebeck Pakistani harps (it goes no lower than the F below middle C), Harp-E harps (it goes no higher than your high E), Dusty Strings Ravenna, Musicmakers Sonnet Lap Harp, and others. It can also, obviously, be played on any and all larger harp models.Played at full-speed, some of the turn-arounds in the right-hand, as well as the octave jump in the middle, can prove tricky (as you can see from my own playing in the video!). But played under tempo and more expressively, it could be accessible even to beginner/early-intermediate harpists, so long as you are learning to replace fingers and change directions.Please note that the preview cuts off after the first half-page of score. This arrangement of Captain Picard's Air from the Star Trek: The Next Generation episode The Inner Light is fitted specifically to the range of a 26-string lever harp, like Harpsicle Harps or Dusty String Ravenna. While there are some complex rhythms and silences to count through, the notation itself is relatively simple -- intended to reflect the sparse, lonely/hopeful nature of the original song, which was played on a solo pennywhistle.It is written in the key of G Major (one sharp), which means it can be played on Harpsicle models that are not fully levered (e.g. Sharpsicles, as well as Fullsicles), and there are no lever changes or accidentals. If the harmonics are omitted, and the dotted rhythms counted carefully, this piece could be accessible to a late-beginner, at least from a technique standpoint. Beginner harpists who have little or no prior background in reading sheet music might struggle with the leger lines, though.Please note that the preview cuts off after the first half-page of score. It begins simply and quietly, but the arrangement becomes more complex as the melody repeats. It is categorized at an intermediate-to-moderately-challenging level of difficulty, as it uses the full range of the harp, explores multiple musical textures, and employes extensive lever changes. Both Harp-E and Rees Harpsicle Harp owners should be able to make it work, provided their instrument has a full set of levers.

This meditative, 4-page arrangement of the classic Christmas song White Christmas by Irving Berlin takes into account the unique needs of a very small lever harp that lacks the stability of instruments which rest on the floor. Lever adjustments are kept to an absolute minimum and allow the harpist enough time to stabilize the small harp while doing so without disrupting the flow of the song. The arrangement is specifically for 26-string (or larger) harps, like Rees Harpsicle (provided that your model has levers and you can play in 2 flats with a few C# accidentals), but it should also work on Dusty Strings harps, Hope Harps, Harp-E, or other small, portable harps. It is straight-forward enough to fit naturally under the fingers and promote fluent sight-reading (because who has time during the holidays to practice?), but complex enough to inspire rich artistic expression and transfix your listeners. The first section mimics the strumming of a guitar beneath a higher melody line, and the second, played an octave lower, sounds more like a simple, nostalgic piano arrangement of the song.

This beautiful arrangement of Pure Imagination from the film Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory -- debuted by Gene Wilder but more recently covered by Timothée Chalamet -- taps both into the sense of childhood innocence and wonder encapsulated by the song's lyrics, as well as into the quirky nature of the character of Wonka.The arrangement is two-and-a-half pages long and fitted specifically to small, 26-string lever harp, like Rees Harpsicle or Dusty Strings Ravenna. It could also easily be modified for 24-string harp models, like Harp-E, if measures 22-25 were played an octave lower than written and the high F in measure 48 were omitted.Skillwise, the arrangement it sits solidly at an intermediate level and contains only two quick lever changes, both on the same string. If you are an experienced harpist, you can probably sight-read it without too much difficulty. You will, however, need to be comfortable with playing harmonics to play it as written. If you are not comfortable playing harmonics, you could absolutely modify the piece by simply plucking each note written as a harmonic an octave higher than notated.
